TALKING A GOOD GAME
?The more games Murray wins, the more I can see him winning this match.?
Tim Henman seems as good at commentating as he was at getting to Wimbledon finals.
?They have played seven points in this tie-break and Murray is leading 4-2.?
Andrew Castle should stick to the comfort of the GMTV sofa.
?Every player can serve over 125 miles.?
Roger Federer has great belief in his fellow professionals.
MCDOWELL HAS LAST LAUGH AT LOCH LOMOND
Northern Ireland?s Graeme McDowell picked up the biggest cheque of his career of £500,000 after keeping his cool to win the Scottish Open.
Simon Khan?s two double bogeys in the last six holes cost him the crown but the Englishman can console himself after he qualified for next week?s Open.
It was good to see two Scots near the top of the final leaderboard with Stephen Gallacher and Paul Lawrie finishing on eight and seven under par respectively.
Hopefully there will be a couple of Scottish names at the top of the leaderboard at Royal Birkdale next week.
FERGUSON TAKES THE PLAUDITS 25 YEARS ON
Sir Alex Ferguson was rightly given a standing ovation when he returned to Pittodrie with his Manchester United side on Saturday for a testimonial match to mark the 25th anniversary since he guided the Dons to victory in the Cup Winners? Cup in 1983.
It was testament to the man that he took such a strong United side up to Aberdeen for the match.
Sir Alex?s achievements at Aberdeen look even more impressive 25 years on so the man who lead the Dons to the dizzy heights of Europe deserves to be paid tribute.
Manchester United eased to victory on Saturday but the Aberdeen fans won?t begrudge Sir Alex the success he now enjoys down south as he has long since earned his legendary status in the club?s history.
SLAVERY? STEADY ON, MR BLATTER
So Sepp Blatter believes that Cristiano Ronaldo is being held like a ?slave? at Manchester United?
The FIFA president spoke out this week about Manchester United refusing Ronaldo the chance to seal his dream move to Real Madrid.
However the talented Man United winger is under contract at Old Trafford ? and being more than adequately remunerated for his services.
Few would agree with Sepp Blatter that being paid £140,000 per week to play for Manchester United can honestly be deemed to be slavery.
